We are glad to inform you that the ‘Literary and Dramatic Club’ conducted two events of Poetry Recitation Competition (both in English and Telugu) on 16th September 2019 and 23rd September 2019 at 03.50pm. Owing to the paucity of time and massive participation, the club was obliged to organise the same event on two days. The organisers of the club invited Dr M Vijaya Lakshmi, Mr J Jaya Prakash and Mr G V Chandra Sekhar to adjudicate the competitions. In the first event, a good number of students attended and 23 participants recited their poems. Two Students among the participants namely: Ms. N.Madhavi I CSE and Mr. P. Prabhakar I CSE won first and second prizes respectively. In the second event too, there was a good gathering of students from which, 16 participants recited their poems. The judges chose Mr. Praveen, II CSE, the winner of the event and Ms. Neeraja Lakshmi, I EEE, the runner up. The department was elated to conduct the events and was delighted with wide participation.
